Paying it Forward: Our Native Forest Regeneration Project
Update Autumn 2025
As I sit writing this update, I am entertained by the chirp and spontaneous flight of Fantails. Their presence here at our regeneration sight is more noticeable this autumn. We have also introduced 2 honey bee colonies and hope these will assist the Kanuka and other local plants pollinate and thrive. Numerous Kowhai have been planted and we are currently propagating flax and manuka seeds. One thing is true, nature takes time, As the saying goes, a tree planted today is a tree for the future. And I hope the next generation truly enjoy the fruits of our labour.
