Predator traps have been set for the spring to help protect the fantails, bell birds, Tui and other resident native species. As the weather warms we will kick off or native tree propagation with Kohwai and Manuka our target species this year. Our goal is to plant a tree for every new bike we buy. But I am sure we will exceed that goal!

Preservation, Conservation and Regeneration

PreservationWe believe strongly in preserving the historic nature of Arrowtown and are proud to operate out of the historic Ganny Jones Cottage c1883-1885.

ConservationProtecting native fauna and flora is an important part of conservation. Utilising humane methods to control predator and pests is a priority.

RegenerationWe aim to propagate our own native trees sourcing seed from our project area. This ensures plant species are kept to those already in the specific geographical location.
